The sandy soil outside Moon City was billowing up.
Under the sky with thick clouds, dozens of peculiar-shaped, advanced-equipped aircrafts resembling fighter jets circled arrogantly.
Mo stood in the spacious cabin, looking down at the city below her that looked like an old photograph, with an expressionless face.
"Miss Mo, it's your turn to break the defensive barrier here for us, right?" The bearded man from the laboratory, who had shed his suit and now wore a dark green military uniform, urged her with hard to hide excitement.
Mo remained silent, unmoving, maintaining the same posture.
"We have an agreement!! You're not having second thoughts now, are you?" The bearded man's expression changed, "Miss Mo, if that's the case, the consequences will be very serious."
"Shut up," Mo said coldly. "I have my own sense of discretion; I don't need you to lecture me."
The dark fleet of aircrafts remained silently poised beneath the clouds, like vultures with outstretched wings, ready to pounce on their prey at any moment.
Moon City was eerily quiet. Jin Feiyu and Luoye were fast asleep on the sofa in "Butterfly Kisses," showing no signs of waking up.
On the table in front of them lay a sheet of drawing paper that was empty, yet contained an entire world. From the speakers, the gentle male voice continued to sing "Butterfly Kisses" over and over again.
The bed where Ku Yue slept was empty, but on the windowsill, several open blue bottles were neatly arranged. Inside the bottles had once been the most potent Demon Sleep Mist. The dosage he had released was enough to keep the entire Moon City in slumber until sunset today…
Get some sleep; everything will be fine when you wake up.
