Extra 31 Birthday celebration
I heard that neither of the couple celebrated the other's birthday.
It was not that they forgot, but it was nearly impossible for them to celebrate their birthdays together every year. Pan Lei would either be occupied with army affairs this year, or Tian Yuan would attend a conference in another country next year. They considered it a miracle when they could be together and lovingly celebrate either of their birthdays. They had only been married for three or four years at this point.

Tian Yuan almost collided with the table. Regardless of whether the house had electricity or not, Pan Lei brought out a small cake from the kitchen, and even romantically lighted candles.
He sang "happy birthday to you," and it was especially amusing since he'd brought the cake shop's crown that children wore.

Pan Lei grinned broadly.
"Baby, all three of your wishes were wasted. I shall always love you."
What you said is absolutely what I will and must do. You don't have to wish for it; I'll make it happen.
Tian Yuan smiled sweetly as he blew out the candles, then wrapped his arms around Pan Lei's neck and kissed him.
"Ge, I love you."
"Wait a minute, I'll turn on the lights. It’s so dark that I can't see your face clearly."
It was deeper to stare into his loving eyes and hear his confession. Pan Lei kissed him lightly before going to turn on the power.
He pushed it up, but it dropped with a click. He pulled it up, and it promptly fell back down.
"I think I blew the fuse, baby."
"Your uncle! When you turn off the lights, simply turn them off. Why in the world did you flip the switch? Hurry up and fix it for me. Are you trying to spoof my birthday celebration?"
"There's one more thing, baby. We don’t have a spare fuse at home."
