Chapter 61: Untamable

Xie Wang used Lin Jianlu's phone to post an update, which stirred up the "Lin Jianlu's dogs" nest.

@LinJianlu'sDog111: It's gotta be p.

@LinJianlu'sDog45665: ??? Who posted this? It can't be our YoYo! Lin Jianlu would never talk like this! Are you kidding me? Impossible!

@LinJianlu'sPomeranian: Wuwuwu, but this marriage certificate looks so real. I was determined to marry Lin Jianlu myself! My favorite cool and elegant beauty on the internet—why couldn't you wait for me to save up enough money!

@LinJianlu'sDoberman: I think it's fine! Xie Wang is tall, handsome, and rich. Lin Jianlu and Xie Wang are a good match!

@LinJianlu'sDog009: Wuwuwu, no way! How could Lin Jianlu fall for him? @XieWang, please tell me this is fake.Work stolen from https://chipoholictranslations.blogspot.com/p/homepage.html

Not long after, Xie Wang's personal account also posted an update.

@XieWang: It's not p. It's real.

In an instant, Xie Wang's Weibo was occupied by Lin Jianlu's pack of dogs.

Xie Wang addressed them one by one—

@XieWang replied to @LinJianlu'sSchnauzer: It's not love that sprouted because of working together in a movie. I've liked him for ages.

@XieWang replied to @LinJianlu'sPoodle: Good catch! The role in Hidden Blade was specifically chosen for my wife to play my wife.

"Xie Wang, what time is it? Why are you still up?" The omega mumbled, half his face buried in the blanket, his voice drowsy and nasal. "Noisy."

"I didn't make a sound," Xie Wang replied.

Lin Jianlu burrowed further under the blanket: "It's cold. Hug me from behind."

"Whatever you say," Xie Wang drawled.

Half-asleep, Lin Jianlu felt his alpha's strong arms wrap around him from behind. Xie Wang's body temperature was so high that it burned him awake, prompting him to shuffle away.

"Awake? Don't move around," Xie Wang said in a hoarse voice.

Lin Jianlu stopped moving.

"Where's my phone?" he asked.

"Here." Xie Wang handed it to him.

Lin Jianlu, still groggy, was startled by the flood of notifications on the screen.

[Lan]: You have a good eye. He's definitely a Fierce A.

[Lan]: [Screenshot] This post fully expresses the author's pride and satisfaction after thoroughly satisfying his omega. Just reading it conjures up a vivid scene of an omega f*cked into oblivion and his smug Fierce A husband.

[Lan]: Now the whole network knows—you're Xie Wang's omega~

"Xie Wang's omega," just the thought of this phrase made Lin Jianlu feel a rush of pleasure.

But—

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

After returning from the competition, he asked Xie Wang to hold him and do him.

Xie Wang did him, but he also did some other things, such as pressing him against the wall to bully him, or making him kneel on the floor. Yet, infuriatingly, the miser had refused to grant even a single kiss.

It was like provoking a wild and untamable big dog. Lin Jianlu couldn't control him, couldn't rein him in; he could only be devoured by it again and again.

Ever since Xie Wang had exposed his inner world, Lin Jianlu had been stuck in this passive state.

Feeling a little itchy in his heart and ready to make trouble, Lin Jianlu curved his lips into a faint smile. He was determined to regain control of this relationship.

"Can you... grab me a charging cable?" He tentatively asked.

"Your phone is fully charged," Xie Wang grumbled, but still got out of bed to fetch it.

Lin Jianlu connected his phone to the cable and turned his back to Xie Wang.

That worked perfectly fine. Not that out of control, right?

"Stay away from me," he added. "You're too hot."

Xie Wang's mouth twitched, but he'd better listen to his wife. He took away the hands restraining Lin Jianlu and moved to lay on the other side of the bed.

He shouldn't have been noisy and woken Lin Jianlu up.

Who knows what mischief Lin Jianlu was plotting, making him run errands left and right in the middle of the night.

"Da Wang, could you get me a glass of water?" Lin Jianlu asked again.

"It's almost midnight. What do you want to drink water for?" Xie Wang refused.

Lin Jianlu seemed to have heard something interesting. He turned over, his clear amber eyes fixed on Xie Wang.

The omega parted his lips slightly, licking the corner of his mouth that had earlier been rubbed red by someone's fingers.

Xie Wang: "Sss..."

It's the middle of the night, and he's fishing like this.

"Are you trying a new method to find sex?" Xie Wang asked.

Lin Jianlu: "..."

Forget it. I'll try again tomorrow.

"Are you mad?" Xie Wang asked. "You're not even really thirsty. I don't know why you are tormenting me with all these tricks."

The alpha got out of bed. The lights by the kitchen island flickered on, accompanied by the clinking of glassware.

Lin Jianlu was dazed for a moment, so attracted by the tall figure busy under the warm orange light that he didn't even want to blink. Work stolen from https://chipoholictranslations.blogspot.com/p/homepage.html

Since they were at home—and knowing Lin Jianlu liked it—Xie Wang was only wearing a pair of shorts. His well-defined chest and abdominal muscles were on full display, with his mermaid lines disappearing beneath the low-waisted shorts.

"Get up." Xie Wang walked around to the other side of the bed, gently patting the omega's cheek. "If you don't finish it, just wait and see how I deal with you."

Lin Jianlu sipped about half the glass before handing it back.

Xie Wang raised an eyebrow but didn't do anything to him.

The charging cable was in place, water had been drunk—whatever Lin Jianlu asked for, Xie Wang delivered.

Warm and controllable.

The only thing out of control was Xie Wang during those moments.

Xie Wang clearly told him that he could just ask for whatever he wanted.

After setting the glass back on the table, Xie Wang turned off the light and pulled Lin Jianlu into his arms again. "Sleep now, stop making trouble."

The omega obediently closed his eyes. He was tired after all. Soon, his breathing became even and long.

But Xie Wang couldn't fall asleep. His mind was racing.

When things are out of the ordinary, there's got to be something fishy. With his experience, it wasn't hard to figure out that Lin Jianlu was testing him again.

Was he trying to get something, or was he dissatisfied with him?

Xie Wang leaned toward the latter.

He went over everything he had done that night in his mind, reflected on every detail, and finally figured out the cause—

It was nothing more than him pinning Lin Jianlu against the wall and taking him repeatedly, but with a teasing attitude, and never responding to Lin Jianlu's tearful plea, "Kiss me."

Xie Wang laughed softly.

Lin Jianlu liked to test him, so he would play along.

Lin Jianlu slept very deeply. The competition had drained much of his energy, and the remaining bit was thoroughly exhausted by his tireless alpha.

The room was filled with the rich scent of grapefruit pheromones. He was woken by Xie Wang, who had him pinned to the bed, sharp teeth pressing against the gland on the back of his neck, grazing it lightly without breaking skin.

"What are you doing?" he asked drowsily.

"Didn't you say last time that you wanted to be woken up like this by a Fierce A?" Xie Wang whispered in his ear. "Are you happy?"

"…I didn't mean today," Lin Jianlu replied softly.

But he couldn't resist and once again indulged in this "losing control within the control range" paradox. Xie Wang's breath swept him up again and again, pulling him ever deeper.

Time slipped by lazily.

"Don't you have to go to the crew to shoot today?" Lin Jianlu asked, sitting at the dining table after washing up.

He wore nothing but Xie Wang's white shirt, oversized and loose. The long hem hung below his waist, partially concealing the pale skin still marked with faint handprints.

"We're almost done," Xie Wang replied, his gaze sweeping over him without a trace. "We had already filmed a lot before you joined the set. I'm about to wrap up."

Xie Wang: "I'll take you to try on the wedding dress this afternoon."

Lin Jianlu had three days off after the competition, and Xie Wang had already planned out every moment of it.

The Xie family sent a car to pick them up for the dress fitting.

"I told them, nothing complicated," Xie Wang said. "Focus on comfort and ease."

"Yeah," Lin Jianlu nodded. "I don't like anything too complicated. Let's just keep it simple."

As they passed through the bustling downtown area, a giant electronic billboard caught his attention.

Playing on the screen was an advertisement he had shot for the Xie Corporation home décor brand, themed "Waiting for You to Come Home."

In a predominantly white-toned living space, he was dressed in white, sitting by a floor-to-ceiling window with his legs slightly bent. His right hand, resting on the carpet, held two or three yellow roses, while his ring finger was wrapped in a white band-aid.

In the quiet moments of waiting, the omega's fingertips seemed to have been pricked by the roses' thorns—a detail that tugged at the heart. Yet, the expression on the omega's face was cold, as if he didn't mind it at all.

No returning-home-late alpha could remain unmoved by such a scene.

"The full version of the ad was released three days ago," Xie Wang's voice broke the silence. "In those three days, sales of this home furnishing set have quadrupled. My brother is very pleased and wants to invite you to become the regular spokesperson for the sub-brand."

"Do you think… I can do it?" Lin Jianlu asked as the car paused at a zebra crossing, just long enough for him to finish watching the ad.

He had to admit, Xie Wang had taught him well. He'd never imagined he could produce such a seductive, captivating allure on camera.

"You really know what you're doing," he said.

Xie Wang smiled faintly.

Just showing off my meager skills in front of an expert.

The "Waiting for You to Come Home" ad campaign was widely popular, but Lin Jianlu would never wait for just any alpha to come home—he would only ever wait for one person.

In the Xie Residence's first-floor living room, the wedding planner and several brand designers were locked in a heated debate. When Xie Wang walked in with Lin Jianlu, the argument paused briefly.

"This is the current finalized arrangement," the lead planner said, presenting the electronic plan with a tablet. "The two of you can take a look first."

Xie Wang handed the tablet to Lin Jianlu.

It was the first time Lin Jianlu realized how much work went into planning a wedding. Just the design of the marital home alone spanned dozens of pages.

Xie Wang was discussing the evening fireworks display with a designer when he heard Lin Jianlu call him from behind him—

"Da Wang."

"Here." Xie Wang turned around.

"Can we get rid of the balloons by the floor-to-ceiling windows?" Lin Jianlu asked.

"Of course." Xie Wang instructed the team, "Remove those."

They were decorative but impractical—if they popped during the ceremony, Lin Jianlu would definitely be startled.

Satisfied with the adjustment, Lin Jianlu offered a small smile before continuing to find faults with the wedding design plan with an indifferent yet earnest demeanor.

The designers listened carefully to the amendments, noting down every detail. Watching this scene unfold, Xie Wang felt his heart fill, bit by bit.

Some people claim they only want a simple, no-fuss wedding, yet still nitpick even the little balloons by the windows.

If only he could have given Lin Jianlu a perfect wedding earlier.

"Da Wang," Lin Jianlu called him again, his tone cold and calm, "I want..."

Xie Wang: "Go on."

"I want to switch to a bigger bed," Lin Jianlu whispered in his ear, "Can I?"
